A new President has been elected by the Association of Professional Flight Attendants (APFA), the union representing flight attendants at American Airlines. Laura Glading who won the position of President after a run-off election.
According to a notice posted on the APFA website, Ms. Glading received 6420 votes in the run-off election, while John Ward received 5363 votes. These two individuals had emerged as the leading candidates after a first-round election earlier this year.
Other National Officers determined by this election are:
- Brett Durkin, Vice President
- Denise Pointer, Secretary
- Juan Barrera, Treasurer
